You can choose to either use the map or, on the rare occasion, just follow the owls in the north. Should you choose to do the latter, you are asked to keep watch for the wolves. (I am not sure how wolves fit into this book.) There are many types of wolves, each more powerful than the previous. They do not have to be fought. They can be avoided. There are two types of wolves, one which is friendly, and another which is hostile. There is a different map for each.The book has no true characters to speak of. It is a pretty generic fantasy, for the most part. There are a few interesting situations, but they are not enough to make up for the book's shortcomings. It is a pretty simple book, but it is still quite good for the time it was released. It can be found for $2.00 on Amazon.So, if you are looking for a book that makes you feel like a hero, this is not the book for you. It is more of a filler book. Although it is quite short, you will probably feel as though it was not at all worth your time.
