If you aren't sure what an orgy is, these scenes will help. The hallmarks of a genuine orgy are lots of sex, lots of sex, and lots of sex. Members of the crew and guest stars get together on screen, sometimes for extended periods, and what stands out about each scene is that in each one, the people who are having sex have no issues about getting it on. It may not be the most realistic depiction of people in a room in a cramped space, but it's authentic, and the sex is all the more real for it.
Shaun (Simon Pegg) and Ed (Nick Frost) have sex, but it's not much fun. They have to climb through the bedroom window with the cat and the dog and the mobiles above their heads, then go upstairs and dive through the hole in the roof made by a falling TV. All the while the mobiles are ringing a set of mobile phones.
Then, Sundance-funded director Nick McCarthy had to edit his tightly made action-adventure into a coherent narrative after the studio insisted on an edgier tone. But the original sex scenes were still there, so they were used for a new trailer of the film. That was the version that played before The Last Stand at the end of the credits of the 1998 film, the only American-made movie that appeared in the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. The MPAA finally gave it an R rating, but only after removing the gooey whipped cream scene and very softly changing the shower scene. And they even took out the title!
Because the film is almost one hour long and only features one sex scene, people have been wondering if it was cut or if it was just taken out. The film has been releasing ever since, so it clearly didn’t get taken out. It was released as Jackie Chan’s First Deadly Move, but that was taken down because of the “fondly” thing. 827ec27edc
