Every GitHub project allows you to download the default branch (usually "main" or "master") as a zip file. This can be found on the project main page by selecting "Code" and then "Download ZIP". You could use this as the official source: -noone/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
@hoverbearhey there!thanks for bringing this to my attention. you are correct, i needed a release tag.this is my first aur package and i wasn't sure on the best way to get sources for different versions.as for asking the author for a tag, i will give it a shot, but it might be unlikely since (according to someone in the xone discord server) this driver is meant to be used until xpad is replaced with xone (otherwise the author would have released an aur package themselves)i will see what i can do about this as soon as possible and thanks for the suggestion, i am still learning the proper way of doing aur packages :)
It's a bit alarming to download a package from your personal fork of the official repo. Did you do this to cut a release tag? Perhaps it's worth contacting the author asking for a tag, or using a zip from the official Github repo instead?
This Python Package aims to provide a pythonic and complete API for your Xbox360 and similar game controllers.Currently it's built on top of the Linux kernel driver xpad so you can use it on almost any Linux distribution including your Rasperry Pi projects etc.
It is part from tools category and is licensed as shareware for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period will end. The Xpadder demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions compared with the full version.
